Junee Solar Farm is a 30MWac solar farm in NSW just north of the 5000 person town of Junee, which is approximately 30 minutes’ drive from Wagga Wagga. The project has been in development since 2017 and is currently in the late stages of construction.

The Junee Solar Farm was acquired by Metka EGN who are constructing, owning and operating the the solar farm. Construction is in the late stages and it is likely to be energized and exporting energy to the grid by the second half of 2020.


The project is in a 10 year Power Purchase Agreement with Coles alongside two of Terrain Solar's other solar farm developments, providing approximately 10% of Coles’ energy Australia wide.The Junee 39.4 Solar Farm site is located on the outskirts of Junee NSW. Construction covered 80 hectares of land where over 11 700 piles, 96 000 solar panels, 1161 trackers, and low impact solar photovoltaic technology were installed by Labouroo workforce from March 2020 to August 2020.
