TRADE ASSISTANT

The role of a trade assistant primarily involves the installation of mechanical tracking systems and PV solar panels, and will suit applicants who can demonstrate the highest standards of safety.

SITE SUPERVISOR / CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

To provide management oversight for all phases of solar construction projects, including but not limited to; coordinating employees, subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding with high quality and safety standards and projects are being delivered on schedule and within budget.

PILING RIG OPERATOR

We operate a diverse range of piling machines such as Orteco’s, Pauselli’s, Gayk’s and Turchi’s. If you are experienced at operating any of these machines, we have a position for you. You will be assigned an offsider to assist with your day-to-day piling activities. We have a competitive but enjoyable piling team who strive to achieve production targets safely every day with impeccable quality.

PROJECT MANAGER

The Project Manager coordinates resources for the flawless execution of projects and ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. This is a site based role (often in regional and remote locations).

PROJECT ENGINEER

As a Project Engineer, you would utilize your engineering skills in implementing the project Quality Management Plan and ensuring that every aspect of the build is built within specification and to the required standard. This role would require you to coordinate the field quality team with inspections and tests and also coordinate the submission of quality documentation to the client.

MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR

As a Mechanical Supervisor you would be in charge of organising and maintaining the workfronts for the installation of the Tracker Structure and/or the installation of PV Modules. You could be supervising up to 5 activities and a workforce of up to 25 staff. You would have 3-4 team leaders as direct reports and you would report directly to the Project Manager.

DIESEL MECHANIC

With over 50 items of plant you would be in charge of scheduled maintenance and servicing and also coordinating all breakdown repairs. This would be a rewarding position where you are able to work in with key management to maximise up-time for all plant. Previous experience in hydraulics, diesel-mechanical work and auto electrical work would be beneficial.

MACHINERY OPERATOR

Across every solar farm project there is always a requirement for competent machinery operators. Whether it be in distributing piles throughout the field, installing the tracker structure of distributing boxes of PV modules. As a forklift or telehandler operator you would be assigned to a construction team in any specific activity and would report directly to the mechanical supervisor.

LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR

Throughout the course of any given year, Tranex Solar handles more than 3,000 container loads of material and tens of millions of individual components. We are looking for organised and driven people with great attention to detail that can receipt incoming product against the planned bill of quantities for every item and product involved in a solar farm project. Generally, the Logistics Supervisor would manage a team of between 6-8 people to assist and coordinate the efficient delivery and distribution of material. This role reports directly to the Project Manager.

HSE COORDINATOR

With a workforce of over 200 personnel we are always looking for competent HSE professionals to join our team. To work as a HSE Coordinator or Advisor on any of our projects you are required to hold either Certificate IV in WHS or a Diploma of WHS. This role is critical to ensure that all our team is operating and working safely within the Project Safety Management structure and adhering to all government regulations.

SITE ADMINISTRATOR

The Site Administrator is responsible for the efficient running of the site office, including personnel/payroll queries, reporting on activities, site co-ordination and will play an active role in systems improvement.

CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR

You will be working as a Contract Administrator on high profile Solar Farm projects across NSW, QLD and VIC. You will be instrumental in supporting the Project Managers and business to ensure project success.
